Welcome to the Hub!

We are a community of entrepreneurs. We believe that given the right tools, connections and knowledge, anyone who really wants to, can start or grow their own business. Located in the heart of the Village of Hamilton, we work with businesses, agriculture, and nonprofits throughout southern Madison County, home to an abundance of natural resources and an industrious workforce. The Hub is the center of an entrepreneurial ecosystem that consists of:

  • a building at 20 Utica St. that offers coworking space and a collaborative environment;
  • a robust variety of programming from workshops to networking, designed to support local entrepreneurs from idea to acceleration;
  • resources that include funding opportunities, mentorship and professional advisors;

We are intent on fueling regional business growth!

A partnership between The Partnership for Community Development (PCD) and Colgate University’s Thought Into Action (TIA) Entrepreneurship Program, the Hub is funded through the Empire State Development New York State Business Incubator Program and is a New York State Certified Business Incubator. We look forward to working with you.

The Hub is constantly adapting to better serve the local business community and we are excited to keep you in the loop on a variety of new offerings

First: we will be offering the front section of The Hub at 20 Utica Street as a pop-up retail location for small businesses! If you are an emerging small business, you may not have the capital to rent a brick and mortar location on an ongoing basis. This space is perfect if you rely heavily on online sales but want some foot traffic as well, or you’re just starting out and want to test the waters before locking down a space.

Utica Street is one of the most highly trafficked areas in downtown Hamilton, with parking for customers and huge windows to show off your products!

The space can be totally customized to your needs — decorate and style as you like!

Please share this with someone who may be interested in a pop-up location. If that’s YOU, get in touch with our director Melissa at [email protected] for more details and highly competitive pricing!
